Another successful delivery completed by the SLD Logistics team this week, with David taking our new tanker on a run from a refinery in Liverpool to a feed mill in Penrith.

Loaded with feed molasses, David made the journey north through Cumbria, stopping at Burton-in-Kendal Services for a well-earned break before continuing on to the customer. The sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for some fantastic photographs of both the new tanker and our Scania tractor unit, which certainly turned a few heads along the route.

The remaining photos were taken on arrival at the feed mill in Penrith, where the load was delivered safely and on schedule. Feed molasses plays an important role in the animal feed industry, and ensuring timely, reliable deliveries is essential for keeping supply chains moving.

Our new tanker is already proving to be a valuable addition to the fleet, combining excellent capacity with the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that SLD Logistics is known for. The polished tanker looked particularly impressive in the summer sunshine, reflecting the surrounding countryside and showcasing the pride we take in our equipment.
